In the fight between Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas ask yourself this- Who did you feel closer to? Lone Wanderer or the Courier?
For me I felt way more intimate with my character in Fallout 3. My Wanderer always had a badass name and the best weapons and armor because I cared. I NV I didn’t really give a shit about my character because he was just some random person I started controlling. In 3 you start from birth and make your own storyline. It’s the perfect RPG line-up that NV was seriously lacking. I hope in Fallout 4 we start out young and see some character development. Yeah new weapons and a new Wasteland is cool, but hey don’t forget the story is what makes it an awesome RPG!
Lone Wonderer all the way!
I know this is different from my normal style, but this is a traditional painting I did a couple weeks ago.

“As much fun “stuff” (quests, crafting, etc) as there is in New Vegas, I don’t actually like the Mojave Wasteland. Anytime I boot up a new game I groan at having to traverse that damn desert all over again. Not so with Fallout 3, exploring is always fun. I just love the Capital Wasteland so much more, eternal subway stations and all!”
Asher’s back story kind of creeped me out. His armor is bad ass, but the fact he built an entire civilization on the ruins of probably one of the most torn places in the wastes is amazing and scary. He wasn’t crazy and wasn’t incredibly intelligent, but he managed to wield people to build the Pitt. It just amazed me.
I really need new blogs to follow, like stuff with things related to:
Bioware (Dragon Age and Mass Effect specifically)
Bethesda (fallout specifically)
Anything with 90’s alternative/grunge
Halp. I’m only following about 30 people, my dash is pretty sad and vacant.
Fallout all the way!
